Karyn Kusama, the same person who put together the horror feature "Jennifer's Body", is formulating a different kind of project. In comes "The Rut", a story that centers on a daughter who's father suddenly ends up missing. From there on the daughter must use the skills her father taught with hunting in order to find him.

At the moment "Kick-Ass" star Chloë Moretz is in the middle of talks to take on the lead role of the daughter. Moretz has acquired quite the fan base ever since her role as Hit Girl in the spring released comic book feature. After hacking and slashing her way through all sorts of bad guys, it's no wonder she's getting the attention that she is.

Earlier this year, along with her appearance in Matthew Vaughn's "Kick-Ass", she also appeared in the super family-friendly "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". You can see her get her drama on as she appears in the remake of "Let the Right One In" with Matt Reeves' Americanized version called "Let Me In". You can see the dramatic thriller hit theaters everywhere this October 1rst.
